Watch out for those sign ordinances!  

The "Open House" and pointer signs that have our name (The Realty Association) on them can NOT be used on off-site property. If you are using one, please cover over the company name. Only generic (non-company) signs can be used off the site. Company signs are fine ON the site.

Each county and city has ordinances that govern the placement of signs on off-site property (e.g., "Open House," "Home For Sale" pointer signs, etc.) We are gathering copies of all the area ordinances to be available to our agents at the office. These laws can be brutal. For example, in Brentwood there is a $50 per violation plus $25 court cost, AND you may be required to go to court!
